Hi there. I have had the terrible experience of owning around 200 counterfeit Pokemon cards. If you have some cards and you are able to meet me in person, I will be happy to inspect them for you. If you still have the cards that you got still in it's original packaging, that's even better. There are many ways to tell real Pokemon cards from fake ones. You just have to look/smell in the right places.

at least fake cards are always easy to spot in any card game.

they lack the official insignia( a stamp usually), smell weird, have typos, and have slight discoloration sometimes.

also the foils and such are different sometimes
